About Us
The Mental Health Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization. We are dedicated to proactively creating a discrimination-free society. We envision a world in which positive mental health and well-being is equally enjoyed by all. Our mission is to raise awareness of mental health issues through education, community and support, thereby reducing the stigma associated with mental health and behavioral conditions. The Mental Health Foundation community encompasses a broad umbrella of mental health related concerns including addiction, suicide prevention, resources for veterans and anti-bullying.
We specialize in mental health awareness, education. Suicide prevention, and addiction rank among our top priorities because these issue touch everyone. Not only those who suffer from a broad range of mental health conditions, but also their families and loved ones.
The Mental Health Foundation provides a deep wealth of resources to educate, inform, support and engage every member of our community. Part of what we do is to plan and implement a variety of initiatives and events as a platform to change perceptions and broaden understanding of mental health conditions. As our community grows, these initiatives and events will expand online, in your own city, and throughout the world.
Our funding and resources go directly to mental health programs, initiatives, education and public awareness campaigns. The Mental Health Foundation strives to promote and advocate courage, compassion and kindness. A place where people can get education, seek help, express themselves in our interactive forums, offer support to others and proactively create positive mental health and well-being. We are champions of mental health advocacy and support invite you to partner with us in achieving our mission. #BreakTheStigma
